Description
A suction line filter drier is installed on the low-pressure (suction) side of the system, typically after a compressor burnout. It catches acid, moisture, and metal debris that would otherwise damage your new compressor. Once the system runs clean (usually 48-72 hours), you remove or replace it to reduce pressure drop.
Specs: 3/4″ ODF sweat connections, 16 cubic inch volume, suction line rated

Fits: Universal — used on any AC or heat pump system with 3/4″ suction line (typically 1.5- to 3-ton units)
