HP163S – BI-FLOW REFRIGERANT DRIER (3/8″, SWEAT, 16 CU.IN.)

A bi-flow filter drier works in both directions, which is required for heat pump systems that reverse refrigerant flow between heating and cooling modes. It removes moisture, acid, and contaminants from the system — especially important after a compressor burnout or any time the system has been opened.

Specs: 3/8″ ODF sweat connections, 16 cubic inch desiccant, bi-directional flow, compatible with CFC/HCFC/HFC refrigerants

Replaces: BF163S, SBD-163S

Fits: Universal — used on any heat pump system with 3/8″ liquid line
