The solenoid coil energizes the reversing valve on a heat pump system, which controls whether the system runs in heating or cooling mode. If your heat pump is stuck in one mode — heating when it should be cooling or vice versa — a failed solenoid coil is a common cause. This coil fits Sanhua SHF-series reversing valves, which are used in many brands.
Specs: 24VAC, spade terminal connections, fits Sanhua SHF series reversing valves
Replaces: COIL-SHF-FA4
Fits: Heat pump systems using Sanhua SHF-series reversing valves (found in Goodman, Rheem, and other brands)
