A sight glass is installed in the liquid line of an AC or refrigeration system and lets you visually confirm refrigerant flow and check for moisture contamination. The color indicator in the window changes from green (dry) to yellow (wet) if moisture is detected in the system. A basic diagnostic tool for any refrigerant system.
