1/2BPTEE – BLACK STEEL GAS PIPE (1/2″ TEE)
PVC, gas pipe and conduit are not interchangeable and each carries its own code requirements. The one that catches people out is flue venting: only a condensing furnace vents into plastic, and only the material the manufacturer specifies. An 80% furnace goes into metal B-vent.

What is the difference between the pipe types you stock?
PVC is used for condensate drains and for venting high-efficiency furnaces. Black iron and CSST are gas. Conduit protects electrical. They are not interchangeable and each has its own code requirements.
Can I use PVC for a furnace flue?
Only on a condensing (90%+) furnace that is designed for it, and only the pipe schedule and material the manufacturer specifies. An 80% furnace vents into metal B-vent, never plastic - the flue gas is far too hot.
What size condensate drain line?
3/4 inch is the residential standard. Give it a consistent slope, put a cleanout at the top so it can be vacuumed, and fit a trap where the equipment calls for one.
Who can run gas pipe?
In Texas a homeowner may work on their own home under the homeowner exemption; that does not extend to doing it for someone else. Gas work is unforgiving and leak testing is not optional. If you are unsure, this is one to hand off.
