If your furnace is short-cycling, check the filter first — a clogged filter causes the limit switch to trip. If the filter is clean, then the switch itself may be failing.

Description
The small rubber hose that connects the pressure switch to the inducer housing on your furnace can crack, melt, or collapse over time — and when it does, the furnace won’t ignite because the pressure switch can’t sense draft. This 5-foot length of red silicone tubing handles extreme temperatures and lasts much longer than the original rubber hose.
Specs: 1/4″ (3/16″) inner diameter, 60″ (5 ft) length, silicone construction, rated -100°F to 500°F, 20 PSI working pressure
