SILVER – 5% – 1LB – BRAZING RODS (BCuP3)

5% silver brazing rods are the budget-friendly option for brazing copper refrigerant lines. Lower silver content than BCuP-5 means the rod doesn’t flow quite as easily, but it still makes a solid joint. Self-fluxing on copper-to-copper connections. Good for DIYers and routine repair work.

Specs: BCuP-3, 5% silver, 1 lb bundle, self-fluxing on copper-to-copper

Replaces: BCuP-3 — standard HVAC brazing alloy

Fits: Any copper-to-copper brazing application in HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing. Used with oxy-acetylene or air-acetylene torches.
