RT400P – HEAT BLOCKING COMPOUND (12 OZ)

This reusable heat-blocking putty wraps around components near a braze joint to protect them from torch heat — things like service valves, TXV bulbs, or nearby copper connections you don’t want to re-melt. Withstands direct heat up to 2000°F and can be reused multiple times.

Fits: Any brazing application where nearby components need heat protection. Common in HVAC compressor replacements, TXV installations, and lineset repairs.
