Description
Electric heat kits (also called heat strips) add supplemental or emergency heating to your air handler or heat pump system. If your heat pump can’t keep up in cold weather, or you need backup heat during defrost, a 15 kW heat kit provides that extra warmth.
Specs: 15 kW, nickel chromium elements, built-in circuit breaker, 208/240V
Replaces: 81-0630-03, HKSC15X, HKSC15XC, HKTSD15XB
Fits: Goodman and Amana air handlers. Check your air handler model number for heat kit compatibility — not all sizes accept a 15 kW kit.
