Description
If your furnace is short-cycling (turning on and off repeatedly), a failed limit switch may be the cause. This manual reset limit switch opens at 260°F to shut your system down before it overheats. After tripping, you push the reset button to bring it back on.
Specs: Opens at 260°F, manual reset, micro size, SPST, 1/4″ quick-connect terminals
Replaces: PRL260, SRL260
Fits: Universal — works in most residential gas furnaces and heaters from Goodman, Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Lennox, York, and others that use a micro-base limit switch rated at L260.
