Where is my model number?
Gas furnace model and serial numbers are typically found inside the burner compartment, accessible after removing the door panel. You’ll usually see them on an interior sidewall or on the plate beneath the burners.
Electric air handler and cased evaporator coil model and serial numbers are usually located on the unit’s exterior panel, so there’s no need to remove anything.
Condensing unit model and serial numbers are typically located on the exterior of the electrical panel at the corner of the unit. If they’re not there, you can check inside the electrical panel on the bottom or side.
