Description

Leak Lock® Pipe Joint Sealant is a versatile, high-strength, brushable paste designed to prevent leaks in various piping systems. The 1.33 oz tube (part number 10001) offers a convenient solution for sealing threaded joints, flanged joints, and gasket surfaces across multiple applications.

  • Versatility: Suitable for use on all clean surfaces, including metals, plastics, and silicones. Ideal for joining dissimilar materials.
  • Chemical Resistance: Effectively seals a broad range of chemicals, including refrigerants, oils, gases, steam, water, and air.

Application Instructions:

  1. Surface Preparation: Clean the surfaces with acetone or another suitable solvent to remove contaminants.
  2. Application: Apply Leak Lock® to both sealing surfaces using a brush or applicator.
  3. Assembly: Wait approximately 20 minutes for a tack time to develop before assembling the joints.
  4. Curing: Cure time varies based on pipe size and temperature, ranging from 20 minutes to 24 hours.
