Our Story

Where did we come from?

Local Contractor Becomes Go-To Distributors for Homeowners.

Open To Public HVAC Parts originated in 1998 as a service company (DNS Air Conditioning) founded by Danny, a local air conditioning contractor and father of three, along with his wife, Sonia, who managed the business’s administrative side.

Recognizing an increasing demand for cost-effective repair parts among homeowners facing high service charges, Danny decided to sell AC parts directly from his inventory. This approach allowed homeowners to fix their own HVAC systems more affordably.

For over 25 years, Open To Public HVAC Parts has served Dallas-Fort Worth with trusted HVAC parts. We offer high-quality components for air conditioning, heating, and mini-split systems from top brands like Rheem and Trane, providing accessible solutions for both DIY enthusiasts and contractors. Customer Questions

No, you don’t need to! In fact, we recommend keeping it assembled so we can accurately test the motor with the fan blade and blower wheel attached.

The wires lead into your electrical panel, where the capacitor, contactor, and other components are located. Once you’ve turned off the power to your condenser and confirmed it’s off with a voltmeter, you can proceed. There’s a removable panel that you can slide off. Take a picture of how everything is connected before disconnecting them from the electrical parts. While you’re at it, feel free to bring in your capacitor for testing as well!

No, our diagnostics and testing are done entirely in-store.

No problem! If you buy a motor from our store, we’ll assemble it for you at no extra cost. We can also take care of recycling your old motor. Just keep in mind that if you bring your motor in after 6:30 p.m., it won’t be ready until the next morning at 11:00 a.m.
